This vehicle recently completed a grueling endurance test at the Nardo Ring in southern Italy, covering an astounding 24,901 miles—the equivalent of a lap around the Earth’s equator—in just 7 days, 13 hours, 24 minutes, and 7.1 seconds. Among its most impressive achievements, the Mercedes-AMG GT XX concept, which boasts a 1,340 horsepower tri-motor powertrain identical to that of its future production version and AMG’s upcoming high-performance electric SUV, surpassed the existing 24-hour electric vehicle distance record of 2,461 miles by a significant margin. It covered 3,404 miles at an average speed of over 142 mph in a single day. Further demonstrating its endurance, the car completed 5,000 miles in just over 35 hours, 10,000 miles in under three days, and 20,000 miles in just six days and 23 minutes, consistently running at 186 mph on the track.
