Super Eagles captain and founder of the foundation, William Troost-Ekong, expressed his excitement about bringing the event to Lagos.
“I’m super excited to bring this year’s TEF Charity Match to Lagos. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to put together a great game and show in order to raise funds for the foundation’s planned projects,” Troost-Ekong said.
Other football stars confirmed for the charity match include Odion Ighalo, Ahmed Musa, Raphael Onyedika, Samuel Chukwueze, Carl Ikeme, Victor Boniface, Stanley Nwabali, Alex Song, and Theo Attom.
The football stars will be joined by popular entertainment figures including comedian Brodda Shaggi, rapper Odumodublvck, social media influencer Kelechi AFC, and content creator Gilmore, with organisers promising more surprise guests on match day.

The event, scheduled to kick off at 1 pm, already has NoOnes, Puma, and Power Horse as confirmed sponsors, with tickets available for purchase on the tix.africa platform.
This marks the second edition of the Troost Ekong Foundation celebrity charity match, which aims to leverage the popularity of sports and entertainment personalities to generate funds and awareness for youth development initiatives across Nigeria.
