Madonna & Sabrina Carpenter Ignite Coachella Stage with New Club Anthem ‘Bring Your Love’

Music icons Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter have joined forces for a new dance-ready track titled “Bring Your Love,” which saw a surprise debut during Carpenter’s headlining set at Coachella on April 17 before its official release on Thursday, April 30. This highly anticipated collaboration between the generational pop stars is featured on Madonna’s 15th studio album, “Confessions II,” slated for release on July 3.

The song immediately captures attention with its assertive lyrics, as the women sing, “Don’t comment on my ideas/ I don’t want your judgment or your expectations/ Don’t wind me up like a toy/ Your vision of me is a killer of joy.” Madonna initiates the first two lines, followed by Carpenter, before they unite for a dreamy pre-chorus. The track incorporates an incessant, “Vogue”-like beat, grounding it firmly in the dance-pop genre.

The collaborative energy continues into the chorus, where their voices blend powerfully: “I know where the bodies are buried/ Don’t try to shut me out/ Don’t try to distract me with numbers/ I did it all for love/ Bring me Sabrina, you’ve got something to say about it?” This leads into the catchy and defiant refrain: “Bring your love, ’cause you cannot shake me/ Bring your love, ’cause you’ll never break me/ Bring your love, ’cause you cannot take me down.”

The world debut of “Bring Your Love,” which serves as the lead single, was a memorable moment at Coachella. Co-produced by Madonna and “Confessions II” collaborator Stuart Price, the track premiered when Madonna made an unannounced appearance during Carpenter’s performance of “Juno.” The set then transitioned from Madonna’s iconic 1990 single “Vogue” directly into “Bring Your Love,” building excitement for the new release.

“Confessions II” is positioned as the long-awaited sequel to Madonna’s critically acclaimed 2005 dance classic, “Confessions on a Dance Floor.” The duo capped off their electrifying mini-set at Coachella with a rendition of Madonna’s timeless hit, “Like a Prayer,” further solidifying their on-stage chemistry.

Leading up to the single’s release, Madonna and Carpenter generated significant buzz with a joint Instagram post. The black-and-white picture showed them cheek-to-cheek, accompanied by the caption, “We’ve got something to say about it ❤️.” This post garnered positive reactions, including a notable endorsement from pioneering New York techno DJ/producer Kevin Saunderson, who praised the track’s “timeless dance DNA” and its blend of “Detroit” and “Innercity Detroit soul,” calling it “all magic” and expressing respect for Madonna.

“Bring Your Love” follows on the heels of the first full preview from “Confessions II,” an electro-pop track described as a “bubbling electro pop heat mirage” titled “I Feel So Free.” Fans are encouraged to listen to “Bring Your Love” to experience this exciting new collaboration.
