The most surprising game was a loss of Antranik (2-1) in Beirut on Wednesday night. Visitors were edged by Homentmen (2-1)
97-94. Homentmen looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for American point guard Jordan Stevens (182-1994, college: Midwestern St.) who led his team to a victory with 24 points, 9 assists and 4 steals. New Zealand-Kenyan center Yuat Alok (211-1997, college: NM State) contributed with 15 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. American forward Anthony Fairley (205-1999, college: Miles) answered with 28 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) for Antranik. Al Riyadi had an easy win 105-75. It was a great evening for the former international forward Hayk Gyokchyan (203-1990, college: F&M) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Wael Arakji helped adding 18 points and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was Dominican-American forward Anyeuri Castillo (201-1997, college: USC Aiken) with 27 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. A very close game took place in Jounieh between Al Markaziyyah and Hoops. Al Markaziyyah (1-2) got a very close home victory over Hoops (0-3). Al Markaziyyah managed to escape with a 2-point win 71-69 on Saturday evening. It was an exceptional evening for Osiris Eldridge who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Al Markaziyyah's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Dikembe Dixson came up with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds for Hoops in the defeat. Al Markaziyyah will meet Antonine (#10) on the road in the next round. Hoops will have a break next round.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 3: winless NSA was beaten by Tadamon on the road 80-74. Sagesse destroyed Antonine on its own court 101-80. Maristes lost to undefeated Beirut Club in a road game 97-103.
The most impressive performance of 3rd round was 21 points, 10 rebounds and 15 assists by Ali Mezher of Beirut Club.

A very close game took place in Jounieh between Al Markaziyyah and Hoops.
Al Markaziyyah(1-2) got a very close home victory over
