Top ranked Golden Kings (44-14) recorded its fourteenth loss in Shimane on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Magic (36-22)

77-68. It ended at the same time the 16-game winning streak of Golden Kings. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. The former international guard Seiya Ando (181-1992) fired 26 points and 4 assists for the winners. American forward James McAdoo (206-1993, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 12 points and 15 rebounds. Important game to mention about took place in Tochigi. Third ranked Thunders (38-20) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging top-ranked Tochigi Brex (46-12) 84-81 on Sunday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-1990, college: Miami, FL) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Yuma Fujii contributed with 19 points for the winners. American guard DJ Newbill (193-1992, college: Penn State) replied with 17 points and 8 assists for Tochigi Brex. Tochigi Brex's coach Zico Coronel tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Thunders have a solid four-game winning streak. Gunma CT maintains third position with 38-20 record having seven points less than leader Tochigi Brex, which they share with Sea Horses M. Tochigi Brex at the other side still keeps top place with 12 games lost. Gunma CT will play against Akita NH (#4) on the road in the next round. Tochigi Brex will play against Koshigaya A. and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Tokyo between B-Corsairs and SunRockers. Seventh ranked B-Corsairs (24-34) got a very close victory on the road over 5th ranked SunRockers (30-28). B-Corsairs managed to escape with a 1-point win 71-70 on Sunday evening. Damien Inglis had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Troy Murphy Jr responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Yokohama BC moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Nagasaki. Loser SunRockers keeps the fifth position with 28 games lost. Yokohama BC will meet at home FE Nagoya (#6) in the next round. There was no surprise when 8th ranked Brave Thunders (17-41) were defeated on the road by second ranked Alvark Tokyo (42-16)
