Happy Casa Brindisi (Serie A2) added to their roster 27-year old American point guard Blake Francis (183cm-79kg-1998, college: Richmond) for season 2025-26. He is the second foreign player in the roster as Cameroonian Aristide Mouaha signed here earlier.
He played last season at Elachem Vigevano 1955. In 8 Serie A2 games in Italy he recorded very impressive stats: 26.3ppg, 4.0rpg and 3.9apg. He also played for Kouvot Kouvola (Korisliiga) in Finnish league.
In 2021 he was drafted by Raptors 905 Mississauga (G-League) in second round (15th overall).
The former University of Richmond standout is in his fifth season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Francis has played also professionally in Canada (Newfoundland and Alliance), Finland, Germany (Science City Jena) and NBA G League (Cleveland Charge, Westchester Knicks and Capital City Go-Go).
Francis' team was regular season runner-up in Atlantic 10 in 2020. He played also for Wagner College for 2 years.
