Imphal, July 15 2025: The Directorate of Art & Culture, Government of Manipur, has informed all the beneficiaries of "Scheme for Financial Assistance for Veteran Artistes", Ministry of Culture, Government of India, to collect the Updation Form from the Directorate, and submit the duly filled-in form on or before July 25, 2025 by 2 pm .

"This is to enable timely forwarding of the documents to the concerned authority so that availing financial assistance may be continued", said the Directorate in a release.

Moreover, the North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Ministry of Culture, Government of India has invited applications from local artistes for appointment of "GURU" under the "Guru Shishya Parampara Scheme" for the Financial Year 2025-26 related to the preserving and promotion rare and vanishing art forms.

The Directorate of Art & Culture has urged all interested persons to collect the prescribed forms from the office of the Director, Art & Culture, Manipur before July 22, 2025 .
