Calgary Surge (CEBL) signed 27-year-old American 206cm power forward Jamorko Pickett (college: Georgetown). He last played for Manisa Basket in the Turkish BSL league. Pickett averaged 6.3ppg and 4.1rpg in 16 games last season. He also played 10 games in the Basketball Champions League, where he averaged 7.1ppg and 3.5rpg.
Pickett is a very experienced player, having played professionally in Puerto Rico (Atleticos), the NBA (Detroit Pistons), the NBA G League (Cleveland Charge, Grand Rapids Gold, and Motor City Cruise), and the NBA Summer League (Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers).
Pickett's team reached the NBA G League Winter Showcase Cup Final Four in 2022. He was selected for the Big East All-Freshman Team in 2018 during his college career.
He graduated from Georgetown University in 2021, and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
