Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv (Winner League) has agreed to terms with 27-year-old Canadian ex-international swingman O'Shae Brissett (201cm-95kg-1998, college: Syracuse) for the new 2025-26 season. He is the second foreign player on the roster, as USA TJ Leaf signed earlier. Brissett played last season with the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA, averaging 8.7ppg and 3.7rpg in 6 games. He also played for the Nets in the NBA G League.
In 2021, two years after graduating, he was drafted by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (G-League) in the second round (21st overall).
He graduated from Syracuse University in 2019 and it'll be his seventh season in pro basketball.
Brissett is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in Canada, the NBA (Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, and Indiana Pacers), the NBA G League (Indiana Mad Ants and Raptors 905 Mississauga), and the NBA Summer League (Indiana Pacers).
Between winning the NBA championship title in 2024, Brissett was voted to the ACC All-Freshman Team in 2018.
