DC Studios has finally released the official trailer of "Superman!"
The trailer starts with Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan) interviewing Clark Kent as Superman (David Corenswet). The interview gets heated as they discuss Clark illegally entering a country and stopping a war without considering the politics of the situation.
Due to the hero's actions, he is under fire, with the Secretary of Defense set to launch an investigation on him.
The trailer also introduces Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, who says, "He's not a man. He's an it... that's somehow become the focal point of the entire world's conversation."
"Superman" establishes the iconic hero in the new DC Studios cinematic universe headed by Gunn and Peter Safran.
The film also stars Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, María Gabriela de Faría, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell.
It will be released internationally on July 9.
