North Texas could see light freezing rain Tuesday afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service. For the Dallas-Fort Worth area, freezing drizzle could start around 6 p.m.
Although the current forecast calls for limited ice accumulation, the weather service said it could still be dangerous because the ice can be hard to detect. Forecasters particularly warn about hazardous road conditions, especially on area bridges and overpasses.
