Hollywood Star Isa Briones Blasts 'Disrespectful' Fans Mid-Show

Actress Isa Briones, known for her role as Dr. Trinity Santos in the acclaimed HBO series “The Pitt,” recently took to social media to address disruptive audience behavior during her Broadway performances. Briones, who is currently portraying Connie Francis in the jukebox musical “Just In Time,” expressed her frustration with fans who yell out inappropriate comments during the show, emphasizing that such actions are disrespectful to both the performers and fellow audience members.

In a direct message on her Instagram Story, Briones specifically cited an instance where an audience member yelled, “when are you going to finish your charts,” just before she was about to sing “Who’s Sorry Now?” She sternly reminded her followers that “Broadway is not a circus” and urged them to remember they are “occupying shared spaces and watching art.” Her appeal underscored the need for respect and decorum within the theater environment.

Briones made her Broadway debut in 2024 as Eurydice in “Hadestown” before joining “Just In Time” on April 1. This musical delves into the life and career of American singer-songwriter Boby Darin, with Jeremy Jordan currently starring as Darin, having taken over from Matthew Morrison on April 21. The cast also features talented performers such as Joe Barbara, Emily Bergl, Carrie St. Louis, Debbie Gravitte, Lance Roberts, and Caesar Samayoa.

Beyond the stage, Briones’ television career has seen significant success with “The Pitt.” Premiering in 2025, the series rapidly gained popularity on HBO. Its first season garnered 13 Emmy Award nominations and secured five wins, including Best Drama Series, Best Actor for Noah Wyle, and Best Supporting Actress for Katherine LaNasa. With “The Pitt” Season 2 having premiered on January 8, it is widely anticipated to be a major contender at this year’s Emmy Awards.
