Guide to Three Los Angeles Pop-Up Shops Open Through June

Los Angeles is currently hosting a series of high-profile pop-up events by three distinct brands until the end of June, each offering unique experiences blending fashion, sport, and culture. These temporary retail spaces include Australian swimwear and ready-to-wear brand Outcast Clothing, the French soccer club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), and the popular Korean womenswear brand Glowny, catering to millennials.
Outcast Clothing, founded in 2015 by Paris Marchant and Lawrence Lees, has set up its “Le Club Outcast” pop-up at The Grove, running until June 26. Originally known for bikinis sold at local markets, Outcast has evolved into a global online brand boasting over 2 million Instagram followers and endorsements from celebrities like Kris and Kylie Jenner. The 3,500-square-foot pop-up is designed to evoke the luxury of the South of France and the Côte d'Azur, featuring a red-and-white striped counter, parasol ceiling decorations, and Riviera photographs. It showcases more than 75 curated styles, including dresses, swimwear, and accessories, with new arrivals weekly. The brand aims to solidify its presence on the West Coast and in Los Angeles, complementing its newly established 8,800-square-foot headquarters in the city.
Meanwhile, the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) soccer team, fresh off their first-ever Champions League win and in Los Angeles for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, has launched its “PSG House” on the corner of La Brea Avenue and North La Jolla Avenue, open until June 23. This vibrant pop-up celebrates the intersection of soccer, fashion, and culture through exclusive collaborations with international figures in music, art, sport, and design. The initiative reinforces the club's connection to American culture and creativity. Notable collaborations include a capsule collection with NBA superstar Kevin Durant, featuring a varsity jacket, collector basketballs, travel items with French luxury luggage brand Au Départ, custom Nike Air Force 1s, and a limited-edition PSG jersey. Other partnerships unveil a capsule collection of hoodies and t-shirts with Dreamville Records, combining Californian and Parisian aesthetics. Miami-born artist The Alchemist has contributed the “Paradise Lost” collection, offering a nostalgic reinterpretation of PSG's aesthetic with faded camouflage jerseys. Additionally, PSG and Nike Re-Creation have launched a sustainable collection giving a second life to 2024 season jerseys, while a collaboration with PTSF (Pablo Tee-Shirt Factory) resulted in a workwear jacket inspired by the Eiffel Tower, made from recycled denim.
Completing the trio, Glowny, a highly influential Korean contemporary womenswear brand cherished by millennials, opened its Los Angeles pop-up on June 6 at 8013 Melrose Avenue, operating through June 22. Founders and sisters Jane and Jiho Choi have recreated an immersive environment inspired by their Seoul flagship, tailored for the LA setting while honoring their dual heritage. Visitors can explore current and past collections, including Glowny’s signature silhouettes, hand-drawn artwork, soft yet bold patterns, the “Hot Summer” collection in collaboration with twins Simi and Haze, and best-selling basics. Launched in 2020, the Choi sisters' brand is recognized for its unique vision, nostalgic silhouettes, and confident aesthetic. This Los Angeles pop-up signifies an exciting new chapter for Glowny, strategically located amidst iconic fashion destinations on Melrose Avenue, with future expansions planned for Tokyo, Macao, and Taiwan.
