Fashion Brands PSG, Outcast Clothing, Glowny Launch LA Pop-Up Shops

Los Angeles is buzzing with retail innovation this June, as three distinct international brands have chosen the city to host immersive pop-up experiences. From Australian beachwear to Parisian soccer culture and Korean millennial fashion, these temporary retail spaces offer unique opportunities for consumers to engage directly with brand identities and exclusive merchandise. The trio includes Outcast Clothing, the Paris Saint-Germain soccer team, and the contemporary womenswear brand Glowny, each bringing a fresh perspective to the City of Angels.
Australian brand Outcast Clothing, founded in 2015 by Paris Marchant and Lawrence Lees, has opened its "Le Club Outcast" pop-up at The Grove, running until June 26. What began as a local market venture for bikinis has blossomed into a global online sensation, boasting over 2 million Instagram followers and endorsements from high-profile figures like Kris and Kylie Jenner. The 3,500-square-foot space at The Grove is meticulously designed to evoke the luxurious ambiance of the South of France's Côte d'Azur, featuring a striking red-and-white striped counter, parasols adorning the ceiling, and evocative photographs of the French Riviera. Visitors can explore a curated selection of over 75 styles, including dresses, swimwear, and accessories, with new arrivals introduced weekly. Outcast Clothing aims to solidify its presence on the West Coast, complementing its recently established 8,800-square-foot headquarters in Los Angeles, embodying its "beach-to-club energy."
Meanwhile, the Parisian soccer powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), fresh off its historic Champions League victory and present in Los Angeles for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, has launched its "PSG House." Located at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and North La Jolla Avenue, this vibrant pop-up will welcome visitors until June 23. Billed as a celebration of the convergence of soccer, fashion, and culture, PSG House is a hub for exclusive collaborations with international luminaries in music, art, sport, and design, strategically reinforcing the club's deep ties to American culture and creativity. Highlighted collaborations include a capsule collection with NBA superstar Kevin Durant, featuring a varsity jacket, collector basketballs, and travel items co-designed with French luxury luggage brand Au Départ, alongside customized Nike Air Force 1s and a limited-edition PSG jersey. Other notable partnerships include Dreamville Records for a collection blending Californian and Parisian aesthetics, and Miami-born artist The Alchemist, who offers a nostalgic reinterpretation of PSG's look through his "Paradise Lost" collection. Furthermore, a sustainable collection with Nike Re-Creation gives a second life to 2024 jerseys, and a workwear jacket inspired by the Eiffel Tower, crafted from recycled denim, is unveiled in collaboration with PTSF (Pablo Tee-Shirt Factory).
Completing this triumvirate of temporary retail experiences is Glowny, an influential Korean contemporary womenswear brand highly favored by millennials. On June 6, Glowny opened its Los Angeles pop-up at 8013 Melrose Avenue, which will remain open until June 22. Founded by sisters Jane and Jiho Choi in 2020, Glowny is renowned for its distinctive vision, characterized by hand-drawn artwork, nostalgic silhouettes, and a confidently soft aesthetic. The Los Angeles space mirrors the immersive feel of their Seoul flagship, thoughtfully reimagined for an LA audience. Shoppers can delve into both current and past collections, including Glowny’s signature designs, unique hand-drawn patterns, and the "Hot Summer" collection, a collaboration with twins Simi and Haze, alongside their popular basic pieces. The Choi sisters view the LA pop-up as the inauguration of an exciting new chapter, set against the iconic fashion landscape of Melrose Avenue, with future expansions planned for Tokyo, Macaco, and Taiwan.
