Grey's Anatomy's Jesse Williams Rushes to Court Accusing Ex-Wife of Violating Court Order
rushed to court pleading for help due to his ex-wife, , allegedly refusing to follow the recent court order awarding the actor sole legal custody of their kids when it comes to medical decisions, In Touch can exclusively report.
On Tuesday, May 6, Jesse, 43, filed an emergency motion, obtained by In Touch, which detailed Aryn’s alleged behavior.
As In Touch first reported, in March, Jesse was awarded sole legal custody of their two kids for their medical and dental decisions.
Jesse and Aryn were married from 2012 until their divorce was finalized in 2020. The exes have been in and out of court ever since.
In his recent filing, Jesse claimed Aryn “has already blocked” the court’s recent order regarding their children’s healthcare.

He asked the court for an order permitting him to obtain healthcare treatment for one of the kids and for Aryn not to interfere with the treatment. He claimed Aryn “aggressively” told their child’s doctor she does not consent to treatment and will sue the doctor if he touches the child.
Jesse wrote, “I will be unable to obtain healthcare for the children … unless this Court makes Ex Parte orders preventing Aryn from interfering with the children’s healthcare.”
He wrote, “The doctor was clearly shocked. I apologized to him, and he said he was not comfortable, and he asked us to leave. As I took the children to the car, they asked ‘What is wrong with Mom? Did we get kicked out? Why does she keep doing this? Why won’t she let me get braces? Can we just go back without her?’”
Jesse added, “Given Aryn’s conduct, I will be unable to obtain any healthcare treatment for the children, including necessary dental and orthodontic treatment for Sadie (and for Maceo who needs braces), unless Aryn agrees which is entirely contrary to the Court’s order that I shall have sole legal custody.”
Jesse also accused Aryn of trying to take his custodial time.

A hearing was held on May 6, where the judge ordered Aryn not to interfere with and allowed Jesse to move forward with the procedure. Late last year, Jesse asked the court to modify the current custody arrangement to make it 50/50 split.
He explained he lived close to Aryn and it would not cause issues with the children.
He told the court the kids expressed wanting to see him more. Jesse previously had two overnight visits per week when the kids were in school.
In a declaration, Jesse told the judge, “The children and I are crazy about each other, and we have a deeply loving active and closely bonded relationship. There is absolutely no reason why Aryn should have more custodial time with the children than me.”
“They almost always ask me how many days they will be with me week to week and if they can ‘just stay longer.’ I moved to a home only 15 minutes from Aryn to make transitions as easy as possible but even with proximity, the number of transitions is unnecessarily challenging for our children and causes unnecessary interactions between me and Aryn,” Jesse added.
Aryn did not appear to oppose Jesse being awarded additional time but did not want the kids to be watched by third parties and asked that she have the right to custody if he was out of town.
Aryn accused Jesse and his team of bullying her in the divorce.
She accused her ex-husband and his lawyers of “making demands and threats to take” her to court and filing emergency motions if she doesn’t comply with Jesse’s demands, “ungrounded and riddled with confusion and lies.”
Aryn added, “The majority of [Jesse’s] requests are not in the best interests of our children. They orient around serving [Jesse’s] desires at the expense of our children’s mental, psychological, emotional and physical health. He is asking that the three of us be on call to accommodate his inconsistencies at all times.”
As In Touch first reported, Aryn slammed the judge who awarded Jesse sole legal custody and claimed she was not allowed to present evidence to defend herself. The case is ongoing.
