Accra, May 17, GNA – The Elections Committee of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has announced June 30, 2025, for its National and Regional Executive elections. 

The Committee, Chaired by Mr Peter Martey Agbeko, in a notice on Saturday, indicated that a link to access the election nomination forms would be provided soon. 

Mr Kwaku Owusu-Peprah is the Secretary to the Committee, with Mrs Beatrice Asamani Savage as a Member. 

The calendar provides Friday, May 16, as the day of opening of nominations and Friday, May 30, as the closure of nominations. 

Publication of eligible voters is set for May 30; vetting of candidates (national: in-person/regional: virtual), Tuesday, June to Thursday, June 5, and outcome of Vetting, Friday, June 6. 

The Committee noted that the calendar was developed with the assistance of the Electoral Commission (EC) Technical Advisor, adding that it would continue to provide updates on all election-related activities.
