The chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Christopher Maikalangu, has officially declared his intention to seek re-election for a second term in the 2026 council poll.
Maikalangu promised to prioritize key sectors like education, health and economy that would move the council forward.
A statement by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs, Kingsly Madaki, Maikalangu also promised to work closely with party executives and stakeholders to achieve greater success.
Alhaji Muktar Abubarka, APC Chairman in AMAC, has assured Maikalangu of the party’s support during the primaries and the polls.
