The Action Alliance (AA) has strongly condemned a recent attack on its presidential candidate, Aare Adekunle Rufai Omoaje, highlighting significant concerns about the state of democratic values and the safety of political actors in Nigeria. The incident, which reportedly took place on Saturday in Osun State, saw Omoaje targeted while attending a burial ceremony. Alhaji Ibrahim Aliyu, the Zamfara State Chairman of the Action Alliance, issued a statement on Sunday unequivocally denouncing the act.
