Bauchi Horror: Bandits Kill Two, Abduct Pregnant Woman and Others in Midnight Raid

Rafin Ciyawa village in the Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State was recently subjected to a brutal attack by suspected bandits, resulting in fatalities and multiple abductions. The incident, which occurred on Sunday night, saw heavily armed gunmen storming the community, opening fire on residents, and instilling widespread panic.
According to reports, two residents were tragically killed during the invasion. In addition to the fatalities, five other individuals were abducted by the assailants. Among those taken were a pregnant woman and four men. The identities of the abducted victims have not been officially released as of the time of these reports, leaving their families in a state of anxious waiting, particularly for the expectant mother.
The attack also left four residents with gunshot injuries. Security analyst Bakatsine, who disclosed and confirmed the incident on Monday, stated that two of the injured victims have since been discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment. However, two others remain under intensive medical care in Bauchi, suffering from the gunshot wounds sustained during the assault.
Bakatsine further elaborated on the events, noting, "Last night, gunmen suspected to be bandits attacked Rafin Ciyawa village in Ningi LGA, Bauchi State, killing two people and abducting five others, including a pregnant woman and four men." He added crucial details regarding the wounded: "Four residents were injured in the attack; two have been discharged from hospital, while two others remain under treatment in Bauchi after suffering gunshot wounds."
Local authorities have confirmed the incident and have assured residents that appropriate measures are being taken in response to the attack.
