I can confirm that D3 Drew University intends to hire Ryan Van Zelst as their new head men’s basketball coach.

Van Zelst joined the Millersville staff prior to last season after spending one season as the head coach at D3 Cabrini University (Cabrini closed following that season). Prior to his time there, Van Zelst was the head coach at D3 Penn State Abington, where he led his squad to an 18-9 record.

Van Zelst will replace Mike McSloy, who departed last month to become the head coach at Ithaca.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
