I can confirm that Kyle Perry will be named the next head men’s basketball coach at D2 Converse University (SC). He will replace Nick Pasqua, who accepted the head coaching position at D2 Coker University (SC) in mid-June.
Perry most recently served as the head coach at Limestone University (SC), a role he held since 2019. His tenure there ended when the school announced it would be closing in April 2025.
Before taking over at Limestone, Perry was a Division I assistant at both UNC Asheville and USC Upstate. He also served as the head coach at Upstate during the 2017–18 season following the resignation of longtime head coach Eddie Payne just prior to the season.
An official announcement from Converse is expected early next week.
