Cynthia Nixon took a queue from Sex and the City when it came to celebrating her latest milestone with her wife, Christine Marinoni!

In similar fashion to Carrie Bradshaw, the And Just Like That… star, 59, revealed to PEOPLE that she had flown to Paris for love. There, she celebrated her 13th anniversary with Marinoni.

“How did we celebrate? ...My wife and I were just in Paris together, so I think we kind of had a little bit of a belated celebration,” Nixon revealed at the Out and The Advocate's Pride Cover Party: Pride of Broadway event in New York City on Monday, June 2.

The actress shared a few photos of the pair in Paris on Instagram in late April. The two could be seen posing in front of the Eiffel Tower, at Mont-Saint Michel and in the gardens at the Palace of Versailles. Additional photos showed them riding in a train alongside their son, Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni, and taking photos on the castle wall.

The last photo showed the words, “I [love] Paris,” written on an already eaten plate in chocolate. Nixon simple captioned the photos: “📍Paris.”

She also paid tribute to her wife, whom she wed in N.Y.C. on May 27, 2012, on Instagram with photos of the pair. The first showed the couple wearing similar black, red and white striped bomber jackets, and in another snap, they posed while wearing pilot hats in a fake airplane.

A third shot showed Nixon making a heart with her hands for the camera, while her wife smiled beside her as the couple lay down on some cushions.

"Happy Anniversary to the best co-pilot a girl could ask for ❤️," The Gilded Age star captioned the post, referencing the second snap.

Nixon and Marinoni first met in 2001, before they became close friends and eventually started dating the year after Nixon finalized her 2003 divorce from ex-husband Danny Mozes.

The two eventually got engaged at a rally to support gay marriage in 2009, and waited until same-sex marriage was officially legalized in the state before tying the knot three years later in 2012.

The year prior, they welcomed their first child together, son Max. Nixon also shares kids Samuel "Seph" Joseph Mozes and Charles Ezekial Mozes, whom she welcomed in 1996 and 2002, respectively, with Mozes.
