The catchy country tune, co-written by Langley alongside Grammy winner Miranda Lambert, JoyBeth Taylor, and Luke Dick, ascended to the top spot, making Langley the first woman ever to simultaneously lead Billboard’s Hot 100, Country Airplay, and Hot Country Songs charts. This rare feat has only been accomplished by a select few other songs: Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help” (featuring Morgan Wallen), Shaboozey’s “Tipsy (A Bar Song),” and Wallen’s “Last Night.”

“Choosin’ Texas” has demonstrated remarkable staying power, spending its eleventh consecutive week at the pinnacle of the multimetric Hot Country Songs chart, and now, its inaugural week atop the radio-based Country Airplay chart.
