Morgan Wallen has once again demonstrated his dominant presence on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, securing his 12th multiweek No. 1 with “Don’t We,” which holds the top spot for a second consecutive week. This milestone, marking his 21st career leader, garnered 33.6 million audience impressions between July 24 and 30, showing consistent listener engagement week over week.

For the chart dated August 8, Wallen achieved another remarkable feat, becoming the first artist to simultaneously hold the top two positions for multiple weeks across two distinct periods. His collaboration with Ella Langley, “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” maintained its No. 2 peak, drawing 32.5 million impressions and increasing its audience by 3%. This double showing is Wallen’s sixth total week commanding both premier spots concurrently. His initial run of controlling the top two positions occurred for four consecutive weeks in July 2024, propelled by his collaborations “I Had Some Help” with Post Malone and “Cowgirls” featuring ERNEST.

Such simultaneous dominance at the top of the Country Airplay chart is a rare achievement. Historically, only two other artists have managed this feat. Luke Bryan held the top two for two straight weeks in 2014 with “Play It Again” and “This Is How We Roll,” the latter a collaboration with Florida Georgia Line. Luke Combs accomplished this over a nearly three-year span, first for a week in September 2023 with “Love You Anyway” and “Fast Car,” and then for another week in May with “Sleepless in a Hotel Room” and “Days Like These.” Wallen's repeat performance underscores his exceptional chart influence.

Adding to his current success, Wallen’s new single, “Been by Now,” made a strong debut at No. 13, accumulating 14.7 million audience impressions. This launch ties his highest Country Airplay debut, mirroring “Love Somebody,” which also bowed at No. 13 in November 2024 before ascending to No. 1 just 14 weeks later. "Been by Now" is a notable entry, standing as only the seventh song in the Country Airplay chart’s 36-year history to debut at No. 13 or higher. The all-time record for a No. 1 debut still belongs to Garth Brooks with “More Than a Memory” in 2007, while Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” holds the distinction of being the only other song to start in the top 10, debuting at No. 8 in June and currently bulleting at No. 9 on the latest list with 20.3 million impressions, up 3%.
