Coronation Street spoilers with prison break, Kit's life in danger, armed robbery and major return

The weeks may have recently been short thanks to shake-ups of the TV schedule, but Coronation Street is set to be nothing short of drama next week.
Fans may have thought Mick Michaelis was safely behind bars following the brutal murder of PC Craig Tinker. But the villain isn't going down without (another) fight.
Following news that his family are falling apart and Lou is in trouble, a dramatic episode to air on Monday, July 14, follows Mick’s prison break and a siege as he desperatley demands his kids are handed over as he plans to do a runner with his family.
In his prison cell, an agitated Mick reads a message on his burner phone. Meanwhile, Brody calls at No.4 for his little sisters, Joanie and Shanice.
When Sally Metcalfe reveals that her husband, Tim, is taking Joanie to a taster day at Weatherfield High, Brody masks his panic and furtively calls Mick.
As Daniel Osbourne prepares for his interview at Weatherfield High, the kids give Joanie a hard time about her parents. When Joanie becomes teary, the school call Sally to take her home.
Meanwhile, at the station, Jess quizzes Lou about Mick’s prison escape, but she denies all knowledge. It is then over at the school Daniel and Mrs Crawshaw are shocked to come face to face with Mick, who tells them he wants Joanie.
Mrs Crawshaw explains that Sally picked Joanie up and so Mick locks them in the office and does a runner. As Sally offers Joanie a tour of the factory while the girls are at the pub, Mick heads to the street, closely followed by DC Kit Green. What has he got planned and who will Kit be able to stop him?

Elsewhere, Kevin Webster assures Tyrone Dobbs that he will tell his wife Abi the truth about his cancer prognosis - once they’re back from their weekend away.
Later, with Kit facing life-saving surgery following his confrontation with Mick, Sarah Platt and Bernie Winter sit at his bedside. Will Kit pull through? And with no sign of Brody since last night, Bernie’s fears increase - has Mick made his escape with his family?
Meanwhile, Nick Tilsley tries to talk to Sam Blakeman about the incident with Mick at the school, but he refuses to engage. Hope Dobbs then reveals to Nick how Lily hid in a classroom...
But she wouldn’t let Sam in and he was left to fend for himself. Unimpressed she'd treat her cousin in such a way, an unhappy Nick takes it up with his brother, David Platt.

Elsewhere on the street, Lauren Bolton invites Aadi Alahan to join her and her son, Frankie. for tea, explaining it’s her way of apologising for her recent behaviour. Aadi agrees, unaware of Lauren’s growing feelings towards him.
Later, Aadi shouts as a masked robber dashes out of the corner shop. DS Lisa Swain freezes, leaving girlfriend Carla Connor puzzled by lack of action.
Aadi later tells sister Asha how the lad threatened him with a wrench and forced him to empty the safe. Asha assures him it’s not his fault and he’s the victim of a crime.
As he tells PC Jess what happened, Aadi explains the robber made off with £6k in cash but at least they’re insured. As Bernie clocks his shifty demeanour, is there more to this than Aadi’s letting on? Suddenly, the door flies open and Dev barrels in wondering what he’s missed.

Meanwhile, Carla quizzes Lisa, wanting to know why she didn’t arrest the robber, but let him run off. Lisa refuses to discuss it and her dismissal leaves Carla troubled.
Also on the cobbles, having spoken to the estate agent, a furious Debbie Wesbter tells Ronnie Bailey that they’ve lost out on No.6 to Carla.
Later, Ronnie begs Debbie to retract her crazy offer for No.6, but she won’t hear of it and reminds him she’s a successful businesswoman.
Ronnie confides in Kevin how Debbie is determined to buy No.6 as she wants to be nearby to support him through his cancer treatment. Feeling guilty, Kevin spells out to Debbie that he doesn’t want her making any rash decisions because of him.
