Controversial Mum of 9 by 4 Daddies Sparks Fury Planning Tenth Child

Whittney Dawn, a 27-year-old mother from the United States, has become the subject of widespread public attention and controversy after openly declaring her intention to have a tenth child. Currently a mother to nine children, each from four different fathers, Dawn’s unconventional family structure and her desire to expand it further with her latest partner have sparked outrage and intense debate across social media platforms.

Dawn embarked on her journey into motherhood at the young age of 16, and since then, she has welcomed a child almost every year. Her nine children include Brandon, aged 10; Kinley, 9; Namaya, 8; Dawson, 7; twins Cambriella and Camden, both 5; Octavia, 4; Liam, 3; and Kyus, who is two months old. This rapid expansion of her family has been facilitated through relationships with multiple partners over the years.

Her family history reveals a series of relationships that contributed to her growing brood. After her first child, her second partner reportedly embraced Brandon as his own, and they subsequently had three children together. Following the dissolution of that relationship, she met another man with whom she had her twins. Currently, Whittney has found a stable relationship with William, her fourth partner and now husband. The couple shares three biological children and is actively planning to welcome a fourth, which would mark her tenth child overall.

William’s acceptance and love for Whittney’s existing large family has been a significant factor in their relationship. Whittney expressed her appreciation for William, stating, “William loved the fact that I had so many kids. It was so nice being able to see somebody love my kids as his own. He was an amazing dad from day one.” This mutual desire to expand their family, however, stands in stark contrast to the reactions from the public and even her own family.

The mother’s candidness about her family choices on her social media platforms has resulted in a deluge of negative comments. Critics have not held back, with many urging her to “keep my legs closed” or questioning her awareness of birth control. Others have sarcastically asked, “Why are you popping out babies like you’re popping money from an ATM?” Despite the overwhelming criticism and judgment, Whittney remains defiant, responding to her detractors with a resolute, “Make me.”

A YouTube video featuring Whittney's story garnered over 11,000 views, becoming a hotbed for public commentary. Many viewers voiced concerns ranging from the practical to the ethical. One person highlighted the impossibility of providing equal attention to such a large number of children, even if financial resources were abundant. Another commenter expressed concern for the older children, fearing they would inevitably be “parentified” and burdened with adult responsibilities.

Further criticisms included worries about the living conditions, with one comment lamenting, “Feel bad for those kids. Stuffed into that little house.” Financial sustainability was also a recurring theme, with a viewer noting that a large family is only “great as long as you can support them all financially.” Some simply stated that “Two kids is enough,” while others pointed out, “Four different baby daddies… That’s nothing to brag about.” Despite these widespread concerns and even warnings from her own family, Whittney maintains that she is not yet ready to cease having children, acknowledging, “I do think I will stop having children one day, but I don’t know when that day will be.”
