Paramount+ has officially announced the premiere date for the highly anticipated fourth season of "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds." Fans can mark their calendars for July 23, when new episodes will begin streaming weekly. The season will conclude with its finale on September 24.

The announcement was made during the Paramount+ Thunder Stage presentation at CCXP in Mexico, where a new teaser for the upcoming season was also revealed. This fourth season is particularly significant as it has already been confirmed that a fifth season will follow, which is slated to be the show's final installment.

Season 4 promises a continuation of the thrilling and emotional journeys of the U.S.S. Enterprise crew, led by Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount). The official logline details that the crew will embark on a series of adventures across the stars, battling both inner demons and external threats. Their voyages to strange new worlds will bring them into contact with colorful new characters, facilitate reunions with familiar faces, and challenge them with terrifying aliens, all while striving to embrace a bright, hopeful future.

The ensemble cast for the fourth season includes Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, and Martin Quinn. Additionally, the season will feature guest appearances by Carol Kane and Paul Wesley.

Behind the scenes, Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers serve as co-showrunners and executive producers.
