Blackpink's Jennie's 'Like Jennie' Music Video Reaches 100M Views

Jennie of Blackpink achieved 100 million views on YouTube with the music video for “Like Jennie” on Friday, marking her second solo music video to reach this milestone, following “Mantra,” according to her agency Odd Atelier.

“Like Jennie” is also the first K-pop music video released this year to achieve this feat. Both singles are from her first solo album “Ruby,” which was released in March.

The prerelease track “Mantra,” which dropped in October of the previous year, ranked No. 98 on Billboard’s Hot 100. “Like Jennie” remained on the main songs chart for three weeks, peaking at No. 83.

Jennie is also the first-ever K-pop solo female singer to have a music video exceed 1 billion views, a milestone she reached in April with “Solo,” her first solo single from 2018.
