Basketball Champions League - PAOK-Mateco-Thessaloniki-signs-Stephen-Brown-Jr-ex-Nymburk

PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki (GBL) signed 29-year old American point guard Stephen Brown Jr. (180cm-73kg-1996, college: Bucknell) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He was the assist leader at ERA Basketball Nymburk in the NBL league in the Czech Republic. In 46 games, he had 10.8ppg, 2.6rpg, 5.8apg, and 1.3spg. He also played 16 games in the Basketball Champions League, where he recorded 11.6ppg, 2.5rpg, and 5.1apg. Brown helped them reach the quarterfinals. In the 2024-25 season, he was named to the Eurobasket.com Basketball Champions League Honorable Mention. He won the Czech Republic League championship title in 2025 and the cup in 2025. He was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Czech Republic League All-Imports Team in 2025.
During the 2023-24 season, he played at Spojnia (OBL) in the Polish league.
He is a very experienced player. Brown has also played professionally in France (Provence Basket and Denain Voltaire), Germany (46ers and BG Goettingen), Latvia, Poland, Russia (Ural Yekaterinburg), Turkey, United Kingdom (Lions), and Estonia (Valga-Valka).
He graduated from Bucknell University in 2018 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player. Brown won Czech Republic League championship title in 2025 and the cup in 2025. He was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Czech Republic League All-Imports Team in 2025.
