Barracuda Queens Season 2 OTT Release Date: The daring Swedish girl gang is back! Netflix has officially announced that Barracuda Queens Season 2 will premiere on June 5, 2025. This stylish crime drama, created by Camilla Ahlgren, continues the thrilling escapades of a group of upper-class young women who turn to burglary for excitement and independence.

Set in the mid-1990s, Season 1 introduced us to four affluent teenage girls - Lollo, Klara, Frida, and Mia - residing in the upscale suburb of Djursholm. After squandering their money on lavish parties, they find themselves in debt and decide to burglarise their wealthy neighbours' homes. Their friend Amina, initially a target, joins their clandestine operations. The season concluded with the girls narrowly evading law enforcement, leaving viewers eager for more.

Barracuda Queens Season 2 picks up in the year 2000. Lollo returns from her studies in Paris to find her friends leading mundane lives. Yearning for excitement and independence, the group contemplates moving out of their parents' homes. Despite a promise to Lollo’s mother, Margareta, to abandon their criminal ways, the allure of the art world and its lucrative opportunities proves tempting.

The girls, seasoned in their illicit activities, consider diving back into the thrill of heists, this time targeting the art scene. Fans can look forward to the return of the main cast: Alva Bratt, Tea Stjärne, Sarah Gustafsson, Tindra Monsen, Sandra Zubovic, Izabella Scorupco, Cecilia Frode, Filip Berg, and Joel Spira.

With Frida Asp and Fatima Varhos producing the series, Tove Forsman joins Camilla on the writing desk. Upon its release in 2023, Barracuda Queens remained in the top 10 for 71 days in Sweden and for 41 days in Norway, indicating a strong regional following. Excited for Barracuda Queens Season 2?
