Baba Rahman spotted in Black Stars camp ahead of Unity Cup - MyJoyOnline
Former Chelsea left back, Abdul Baba Rahman, has been spotted in the Ghana Black Stars camp ahead of Wednesday’s Unity Cup clash against rivals Nigeria.
The PAOK defender has been absent from international duty for nearly two years, with his last appearance for Ghana coming back in September 2023.
The 30 year old exempted himself from selection after being subjected to intense fan abuse during his last appearance against the Central African Republic, in an AFCON qualifier, at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Ghana is yet to release their official squad for the Unity Cup competition in London, but players have already began reporting to camp.
The former Asante Kotoko defender was seen in a viral video on social media having dinner at the team hotel in London, alongside teammates, Lawrence Ati Zigi and Gideon Mensah.
Rahman has made 23 appearances for his club side PAOK this season, scoring 5 times and providing 2 assists in the league.
