Amina Muaddi brings her signature glam to Paris with a flagship store on Avenue Montaigne

Published 3 weeks ago3 minute read

The Amina Muaddi shoe has always demanded attention – now it claims its rightful place at one of fashion’s most prestigious addresses.

This week, the Jordanian-Romanian designer unveiled her first standalone boutique at 6 Avenue Montaigne, marking a pivotal evolution for a brand that revolutionized footwear through its electric drop model.

“Having a store means having a home, both for our customers and the brand,” Amina Muaddi shared in an exclusive statement. “We are so excited to connect with our community, to let clients experience the brand not just through product but visually, physically and emotionally. This is only the beginning of a long, new journey within retail, and it’s a huge milestone to start from Avenue Montaigne — the dream address for fashion and luxury.”

The 1,100-square-foot space, designed in collaboration with Art Recherche Industrie, eschews traditional retail theatrics for immersive sophistication. Undulating aluminum walls cascade like liquid metal, while shoebox-shaped cabinets in glossy burl walnut nod to French and Italian Art Deco influences. The centerpiece—a rotating caramel-pink sofa (the brand’s signature hue) beneath sculptural suspension lighting—invites visitors to linger in what feels more like a fashionable salon than a traditional store.

To commemorate the opening, Muaddi launched an exclusive capsule collection featuring six reimagined classics. The lineup includes showstoppers like a patent gold Anok slingback and a Jerry sandal adorned with ostrich feathers—each piece exemplifying the brand’s signature blend of audacious femininity and impeccable craftsmanship. The pièce de résistance? A limited-edition Ami Clutch embroidered with mismatched crystals, with only six numbered pieces available worldwide.

This flagship debut follows Muaddi’s successful retail expansion, including a shop-in-shop at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche launched last April, alongside established presences in Harrods and Level Shoes. The brand’s momentum continues unabated, having recently unveiled its 2025 cruise collection starring muse Tina Kunakey in May. Even music royalty has taken notice—Beyoncé notably wore custom Muaddi heels during her Cowboy Carter Tour, cementing the label’s status as the footwear of choice for fashion’s most daring icons.

With its Parisian flagship, Amina Muaddi doesn’t just open a store—she creates a destination. A place where her vision of modern glamour, equal parts bold and refined, can be experienced in full sensory splendor. As the designer herself notes, this is just the beginning. For a brand that transformed how we think about luxury footwear, Avenue Montaigne is the perfect stage for its next act.
