For Nevnine Onyango, the widow of slain X influencer Albert Ojwang, that moment is slowly creeping in as her young son, George Myles Ojwang, has begun asking the hard questions that she is not yet ready to answer.

Speaking during a recent interview, the heartbroken mother revealed the emotional turmoil she has been going through since losing her husband in such a brutal and controversial manner.

However, more than her grief, it is the growing curiosity of her little boy that keeps her up at night.

"He has heard people crying and mentioning Omondi and he knows Omondi is his dad. At some point, he even asked me, ‘Nimesikia watu wakilia wakisema daddy amekufa, ni ukweli amekufa?’ and I was like, ‘hapana, hajakufa.’ He has even just asked me that when I was with the grandmother,” Nevnine said, her voice heavy with sadness and uncertainty.
