Accord Group Throws Weight Behind Gbenga Hashim for 2027 Presidential Bid

The Accord Alliance Movement (AAM), a prominent support group, officially reaffirmed its unwavering backing for Dr. Gbenga Joel Olawepo-Hashim's 2027 presidential ambition during the group's inauguration ceremony held in Abuja. This event marked a significant step in mobilizing support for Hashim's bid for the nation's top office.

During the inauguration, Hon. Light Adah Adoko, the Director-General of the Accord Alliance Movement, voiced strong concerns regarding alleged attempts by certain individuals within the Accord Party to impede Hashim’s emergence as the party’s presidential candidate. Adoko firmly asserted that Dr. Olawepo-Hashim remains the sole presidential aspirant for the party, emphasizing that any action to deny him the party’s ticket would constitute a direct challenge to the principles of internal democracy within the Accord Party.
