Abu Dhabi Launches MENA's 1st Personalised Weight Management Programme To Tackle Lifestyle Diseases
— UAE Forsan (@UAE_Forsan) June 19, 2025
Abu Dhabi’s Department of Health and Public Health Care Centre have unveiled this first-of-its-kind initiative in the Middle East. A powerful blend of digital tracking, professional coaching, and insurance support. Basically, it’s a health plan that’s full of personalised data and convenience. With this, you can access personalised, science-driven plans customised based on their body goals
Now, who’s eligible? If you’re 18 or older, a Thiqa insurance holder, and fall under the overweight or obese category as per medical standards, you’re in. Once you’re signed up, the plan kicks off with a proper health screening. Then, the real magic begins:
The idea is simple: help you make smarter decisions, track real progress, and stay consistent. This will help you gain control over your life, habits, and future.
Abu Dhabi’s latest health drive is about building a community that’s health-savvy and self-aware.
In a region where lifestyle-related diseases are rising faster than summer temps, this programme is a timely intervention and a brilliant one at that. Authorities hope it becomes the gold standard for other cities battling similar health challenges. And with expert support, digital tools, and real results, it’s safe to say Abu Dhabi just made health personal.
Ready to level up? Yalla, your future self will thank you.
