Unveiled: Bruno Mars' 'The Romantic Tour' Kicks Off with Electrifying Setlist!

Bruno Mars has undeniably dominated the Las Vegas Strip for over a decade, marked by two highly successful residencies at The Cosmopolitan and Dolby Live, which have collectively generated more than $200 million. His significant impact on the city was formally recognized on Friday, April 10, when Mars was bestowed with the actual key to Las Vegas, marking a day of back-to-back career milestones.
The celebratory day included the naming of a street in his honor, now officially called Bruno Mars Drive. Furthermore, an official day proclamation was issued, alongside the presentation of a ceremonial state flag from Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo. This spectacular occasion coincided with the launch of Mars’ highly anticipated 'The Romantic Tour,' his first tour in over ten years, which notably sees him performing in North American football stadiums for the first time.
Adding to the unforgettable debut, a parade featuring Hello Kitty preceded Mars’ sold-out event, captivating the crowd that gathered throughout the day and later at Allegiant Stadium. The main event, the first of his two shows in Las Vegas, commenced around 8:50 p.m. Mars delivered a two-hour maximalist soul, funk, and pop jam session, performing every new track, old hit, and crowd favorite, even bringing back Silk Sonic with Anderson .Paak for a special appearance.
The concert immersed the stadium's 65,000 fans into Mars’ unique universe, from the soulful opening ballad “Risk It All” to the anthemic “Uptown Funk.” Between his razor-sharp choreography and the captivating musical prowess of his band, The Hooligans, Mars presented the night not merely as a retrospective of his career but as a powerful statement. He positioned 'The Romantic era' as his most confident and swagger-laden yet, truly living up to his newly bestowed title, the “King of Las Vegas,” and solidifying his reputation as one of the greatest showmen touring today.
The full opening night setlist for The Romantic Tour included: RISK IT ALL, CHA CHA CHA, ON MY SOUL, 24K MAGIC, TREASURE, GOD WAS SHOWING OFF, I JUST MIGHT, PERM, WHY YOU WANNA FIGHT, LOW RIDER MEDLEY (OH GIRL, MISS YOU, EVERYTHING, WANNABE, THAT’S WHAT I LIKE), SOMETHING SERIOUS, BLAST Off, 777, FLY AS ME, SMOKING OUT THE WINDOW, LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN, MARRY YOU, DIE WITH A SMILE, PIANO MEDLEY – IT WILL RAIN, TALKING TO THE MOON, WHEN I WAS YOUR MAN, LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN, JUST THE WAY YOU ARE, UPTOWN FUNK, DANCE WITH ME.
