OPay Digital Services Limited has officially inaugurated its new, fully upgraded office in Ibadan, Nigeria, marking a significant milestone in its nationwide expansion strategy and commitment to delivering innovative and accessible financial services. The launch event, held on Thursday, brought together prominent business leaders, partners, merchants, agents, and media representatives, highlighting OPay's dedication to strengthening its presence and service quality across the country.

The new Ibadan office is strategically designed to serve as a robust support center, aiming to enhance service delivery for OPay’s extensive network of merchants, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), corporate clients, and millions of users throughout Oyo State. This facility underscores OPay's mission to bring world-class financial solutions closer to Nigerians, catering to both digital engagement and those who prefer in-person interactions for reliable support and a seamless experience.

Elizabeth Wang, Chief Commercial Officer at OPay Digital Services Limited, emphasized that the opening of this state-of-the-art office is a testament to OPay’s unwavering focus on customer satisfaction and its broader strategic goals. Wang noted that while OPay currently operates 28 offices across 25 states, the Ibadan branch is the first to receive a full upgrade to this new, exceptional standard. She further announced plans to renovate all OPay offices nationwide between this year and next, ensuring a consistent level of quality across all physical touchpoints.

Highlighting OPay's dedication to secure and technology-driven solutions, Wang reaffirmed that customers will continue to benefit from “beyond-banking services” supported by a fast and reliable network. She also highlighted the deployment of advanced security features, including Face ID and other cutting-edge protections, designed to ensure safer transactions and a more secure digital ecosystem for all users.

Odiase Ikponmwosa, Head of Partnership at OPay, echoed these sentiments, explaining that the new office reinforces the company’s mission to maintain close relationships with customers while delivering exceptional service at every interaction point. He stated that the Ibadan facility will lead to enhanced service, stronger engagement, and a deeper commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs, listening to their feedback, and continuously improving their overall experience.

Ikponmwosa also indicated that customers should anticipate increased collaboration initiatives, improved support structures, and expanded partnership opportunities as OPay continues to scale operations across Nigeria. The office's design specifically aims to improve customer experience, facilitate faster issue resolution, strengthen merchant support, and provide a dedicated space for product demonstrations and partner engagement.
