Super Bowl Halftime Shock? Young Miko Sparks Bad Bunny Duet Rumors at GLAAD Party!

Puerto Rican star Young Miko has officially confirmed her participation in the celebrations surrounding the 2026 Super Bowl. She was announced on Tuesday, January 27, as a special performer for the 5th annual A Night of Pride with GLAAD, an event presented by Smirnoff. This significant gathering is recognized as one of the NFL’s signature LGBTQ-focused moments during Super Bowl week, designed to celebrate inclusion, authenticity, and belonging within sports.
The A Night of Pride event is scheduled to take place on Friday, February 6, at the NFL Culture Club, with the specific location details to be confirmed and shared. NFL Network’s Kimmi Chex will host the evening, which will also feature performances by talented artists such as Durand Bernarr, Ruby Ibarra, and DJ Lady Ryan.
These festivities occur just two days before another historic moment: Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny is set to headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show on Sunday, February 8, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. This makes him the first artist who primarily performs in Spanish to lead the prestigious halftime event. Bad Bunny is no stranger to the Super Bowl stage, having previously made an appearance as a guest during Shakira and Jennifer Lopez’s set in 2020.
While a teaser trailer for Bad Bunny's upcoming performance promises that “the world will dance,” speculation has been rampant regarding potential surprise guests. Young Miko, for instance, made a memorable surprise appearance at his residency in San Juan last year, where she joined him to perform their hit collaboration “Fina,” featured on Bad Bunny’s 2023 album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana. This past collaboration fueled hopes among fans that she might also join him on stage for the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show.
However, a representative from Young Miko clarified to Billboard Español on Tuesday that she will, unfortunately, not be performing with Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl halftime show. The representative stated, “Miko is not going to be singing with Benito at the Super Bowl. She will only be participating in this GLAAD event to support the community and give them visibility in the world of football, with the NFL and with GLAAD.” In addition to her Super Bowl week engagements, Young Miko released her sophomore album, “Do Not Disturb,” in November. This 16-track album offers an introspective journey, inviting listeners to disconnect from external noise and reconnect with their inner peace, while also encouraging them to dance.
