Slipknot Unleash Monumental 2027 Stadium Tour, Their Biggest Ever

Slipknot has officially announced their most expansive tour to date, the highly anticipated (Sic)est Stadium Tour, scheduled for 2027. This massive global stadium run draws its name from the iconic track "(sic)," the powerful opener from their seminal 1999 self-titled debut album. Produced by Live Nation, the tour promises an entirely new staging production and a comprehensive, career-spanning setlist designed to thrill their dedicated fanbase.

The tour will kick off with a single UK and European date on July 3 at London’s Wembley Stadium. Following this, the North American leg is set to begin on July 16 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., and will conclude on August 18 at Chase Field in Phoenix. September will then see the band perform five shows across South America. Notably, Bring Me the Horizon will serve as the opening act for all North American dates, with a diverse lineup of rotating guests supporting throughout the run, including Lamb of God, Motionless in White, Lorna Shore, Loathe, Acid Bath, Polyphia, Kublai Khan TX, and Vended. The Wembley opener will feature additional special guests Marilyn Manson, Lorna Shore, and Hatebreed.

Fans eager to secure their spots can participate in an artist presale starting Tuesday, September 29, with general tickets going on sale Friday, October 2. The announcement of this monumental tour follows the recent release of "Arsenal," Slipknot’s first new song in three years. On this track, frontman Corey Taylor powerfully declares, “I got a lot to f—ing say / And if you didn’t listen, you didn’t hear me anyway,” signaling a potent return to new material.

"Arsenal" also marks the band's first recording since the recent departures of turntablist Sid Wilson in August and keyboardist-sampler Craig Jones in 2023. Guitarist Jim Root has clarified that this new single will not be featured on the band's upcoming album, with their last full-length release remaining 2022’s critically acclaimed "The End, So Far."

Formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995, Slipknot has solidified its position as one of the most commercially successful metal acts of the last three decades. "The End, So Far" debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and topped the Top Album Sales chart in 2022, becoming the band’s sixth top 10 album on the chart.
