Singer Spyro Shocks Fans with Engagement Announcement!

Nigerian singer and songwriter Oludipe David, widely recognized by his stage name Spyro, has officially announced his engagement to his partner, Janet Atom. The popular artist, known for his hit single “Who Is Your Guy?”, shared the joyful news with his fans and followers on his Instagram page on Friday, accompanying the announcement with a series of pictures from his romantic proposal.
In a heartfelt message, Spyro recounted the precise moment he met his fiancée, marking it as a pivotal turning point in his life. He revealed that their initial encounter took place on March 30, 2024, at exactly 2:48 a.m., while he was working at a club located in Lagos. Expressing his profound happiness, Spyro wrote, “The 30th of March 2024, my world paused as I found love in an unexpected place. At exactly 2:48 a.m., I met the answer to my prayers, #_callme_njure, in a Lagos club while at work, and from then till now, I have lived every single day a very happy man.” He concluded his emotional post by thanking Janet Atom for accepting his proposal, stating, “Thank you for saying YES, my sweet J. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Spyro rose to significant prominence within the music industry following the success of his track “Who Is Your Guy?”. The song was initially released in November 2022 and later gained even wider recognition and popularity after it was re-released in March 2023 as a remix featuring the renowned Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage, solidifying his status as a notable figure in contemporary African music.
