Shakira's Global Domination Continues: New Mexico Dates Shatter Records for 2026 Tour

Shakira continues to set new benchmarks in Mexico with her monumental Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour. The Colombian superstar has expanded her record-breaking run, with Mexican promoter OCESA announcing on Wednesday, November 26, the addition of three new dates for February 2026. This brings the total number of shows for her highly successful tour in the Latin American country to an unprecedented 31, solidifying its status as the highest-grossing tour by a Latin woman in history.
The newly added concerts will take place at prominent venues across Mexico. Shakira is scheduled to perform at the Víctor Manuel Reyna Stadium in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, on February 21, followed by a show at the Carlos Iturralde Stadium in Mérida, Yucatán, on February 24. The tour will then culminate with a performance at the GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico City on February 27, 2026.
Earlier this year, the Barranquilla native already made history by performing 12 shows at the iconic GNP Seguros Stadium, formerly known as Foro Sol. This marked the most performances by any single artist at the venue. According to OCESA, these 12 shows alone sold an impressive 65,000 tickets per night, totaling 780,000 tickets for that segment of the tour.
The Mexican leg of the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour initially commenced in March with seven dates at the GNP Seguros Stadium. A second leg saw the addition of five more concerts between August and September at the same Mexico City venue. Overall, this tour has been recognized as the biggest in Mexico's history, breaking all-time records for attendance, ticket sales, and the number of consecutive stadium shows.
Another significant milestone was achieved in July when Shakira surpassed one million tickets sold in Mexico as part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. This figure was reported by OCESA, based on 28 dates completed by September 24. Currently, Shakira is in the process of completing the South American leg of her tour, with scheduled stops in Paraguay, Uruguay, and Argentina until December 15. Following this, she will head to Hollywood, Florida, for three dates at the Hard Rock Live from December 27 to 29.
