Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara made a visit to President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday evening. The Governor arrived alone at the seat of power around 6:20 pm to 6:30 pm and was promptly ushered into the President's office for the meeting.

While the precise reason for the high-profile visit was not immediately made public, it is widely understood to be connected to President Tinubu’s crucial role in the recent efforts to restore peace and stability within Rivers State.
