Own Supercar Blondie's Iconic Huracán in Hot Wheels Form!

Hot Wheels has launched its new Global Legends Collection as part of the overarching "Challenge Accepted" campaign, a significant initiative by one of Mattel's fastest-growing brands. This campaign aims to celebrate the challenger spirit, encouraging individuals to take risks, defy expectations, and pursue their passions. The Global Legends Collection brings this ethos to life by featuring premium diecast cars inspired by influential entrepreneurs, musicians, and athletes, serving as tangible connections between childhood dreams and future aspirations.

Among the featured personalities is Alex Hirschi, widely known as Supercar Blondie. The Dubai-based businesswoman and online personality, familiar to automotive enthusiasts, rose to prominence through her automotive content. Hot Wheels has immortalized her first supercar, a Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 affectionately named "Lucy," into a premium diecast model for the 2026 collection. This miniature replica faithfully features the blue and black floral pattern that adorns Supercar Blondie's actual Lamborghini, a design that was hand-painted. Hirschi reflected on her journey, sharing how she achieved her dream of owning a supercar through relentless work and travel, filming the world's coolest cars, which ultimately allowed her to purchase the Huracán she chose for its distinctive sound and daily drivability.

The collection also includes Colombian rapper, singer, and songwriter Maluma, who signed with Sony Music at the age of 16 and achieved mainstream success by 2015. Hot Wheels represents Maluma with a specially designed Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60, which he calls "La Matrona" (the Mother). This diecast model features custom graphics and intricate details, making it appear as though the 1:64-scale SUV has just completed an adventurous off-road excursion. Maluma expressed that this particular car symbolizes his family and the current stage of his life, as he was anticipating the arrival of his baby boy, highlighting that despite his love for supercars, the Land Cruiser aligns with his present lifestyle.

Finally, Polish soccer star Robert Lewandowski is honored with a 1997 Porsche 911 GT1 in the collection. Hot Wheels states that this choice reflects the precision, exceptional performance, and unwavering pursuit of excellence that have characterized Lewandowski's illustrious career at the pinnacle of professional sports. Lewandowski, who personally owns a Guards Red Porsche 911 Speedster with the Heritage Design package, chose the 911 GT1 for its connection to his childhood dreams and to incorporate his national colors into the design, reflecting a deep personal significance for the diecast representation.
