Osimhen's Staggering €65M Valuation Dominates Striker Market

Victor Osimhen's market value has recently experienced a significant reduction, dropping to €65 million according to Transfermarkt's updated figures. This represents a €10 million decrease from his previous valuation of €75 million, marking his lowest market price since June 2022, when he was a 23-year-old striker for Napoli. Despite this downturn, the Nigerian forward, currently playing for Galatasaray, remarkably maintains a higher valuation than several prominent European strikers.

Among the notable names trailing Osimhen are Rasmus Højlund and Harry Kane, both valued at €60 million. Højlund, the 23-year-old Denmark international, is now with Napoli, having moved there from Manchester United. Harry Kane, the captain for Bayern Munich, also holds a €60 million valuation despite his exceptional scoring record, which includes 81 goals in 115 international appearances for England.

A group of forwards is valued at €55 million, placing them €10 million below Osimhen. This group includes Ferran Torres, who joined Paris Saint-Germain in August and immediately made an impact by scoring twice on his debut against Rennes. Kai Havertz, the German forward for Arsenal, is also valued at €55 million, bringing his Premier League, Champions League, and international experience to the table. Completing this group is Donyell Malen, the Netherlands international, who now plays for Roma. Roma secured his permanent transfer in May following an explosive initial period in Italy.

Further down the list, five more established names are valued at €50 million each, putting them €15 million below Osimhen. These players are Pio Esposito, Nick Woltemade, Folarin Balogun, Gonçalo Ramos, and Omar Marmoush. Esposito, 21, recently extended his contract with Inter until 2032 after contributing to the club's success. Woltemade, who scored 18 goals in 36 games for Stuttgart, made a loan move to Juventus from Newcastle in September. Balogun had a highly productive season with Monaco, netting 19 goals and providing three assists across all competitions before an impressive performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Ramos transferred from Paris Saint-Germain to AC Milan in June, having scored 45 goals in 131 appearances for PSG. Lastly, Marmoush moved on loan from Manchester City to Tottenham in August, with Spurs holding an obligation to make the transfer permanent.

Osimhen himself has demonstrated strong form for Galatasaray, registering six goals and two assists in his first four league appearances before an injury interrupted his season. Should he continue this excellent performance in Turkey, it could potentially facilitate a return to one of Europe's top five leagues next summer, possibly leading to a rise in his market value once again.
