The highly anticipated event aims to achieve the largest single-location film screening ever recorded, setting its sights on a monumental gathering at the iconic Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) in Lagos.

Scheduled for September 26, 2026, the organisers of "Black Market" are targeting an unprecedented 50,000 attendees for this historic screening. This goal is set to significantly surpass the current Guinness World Record for the largest single-location film screening, which stands at an impressive 43,000 attendees. The sheer scale of this endeavor underscores the growing global recognition and ambition of Nollywood productions.

Behind the creative vision of "Black Market" is director Fatimah Binta Gimsay, who co-wrote the compelling screenplay alongside Abdul Tijani-Ahmed. The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast featuring some of Nollywood's most celebrated talents, including Lateef Adedimeji, Linda Ejiofor-Suleiman, Scarlet Gomez, and Uzor Arukwe.
