Only Good Films Debuts ‘For Better Or Worse’ With Star-Studded Premiere

Only Good Films formally entered the spotlight with the premiere of its seventh title, “For Better Or Worse,” marking its official industry debut. The upscale event signaled the studio’s bold arrival despite already completing six previous projects.
Hosted by media personality Denrele Edun, the evening blended celebrity presence with cinematic ambition. The launch underscored the company’s growing influence within Africa’s film sector.
Among the high-profile attendees were Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Mike Ezuruonye, and Stan Nze, alongside a broad mix of actors, producers, and media executives. Their presence reinforced the film’s industry backing.
“For Better Or Worse” explores themes of love, loyalty, and the shifting realities of modern relationships. The film emphasizes emotional authenticity and grounded storytelling.
Audience members responded with unanimous praise, awarding the film what organizers described as a “10 over 10” rating across the board. The reception highlighted the production’s technical polish and narrative strength.
Chief Executive Officer Lydia Lawrence-Nze told guests the studio was founded on the belief that storytelling can shape culture and spark dialogue. Produced by Jblaze and directed by Vincent Nwachukwu, the film reflects the company’s long-term creative vision.
With seven titles now completed, Only Good Films positions itself as an emerging force in contemporary African cinema. The successful premiere signals strong momentum as the studio expands its footprint.
