Mugabe Scion's Shocking Arrest: Son of Late Dictator Detained in South Africa for Alleged Attempted Murder!

Bellarmine Mugabe, the youngest son of Zimbabwe's late former President Robert Mugabe, has been arrested in South Africa following a reported shooting incident at a property in an upscale Johannesburg suburb. The 28-year-old was taken into custody after a 23-year-old man, identified as a gardener, was shot and critically injured. The incident took place at a house in Hyde Park, where Bellarmine Mugabe was staying, and police are treating the case as attempted murder.
South African police confirmed that two individuals, including Bellarmine Mugabe, have been detained for questioning in connection with the shooting. Police spokesperson Col Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi stated that while bullet cartridges were found at the scene, the firearm allegedly used in the incident has not yet been recovered. The suspects, according to Nevhuhulwi, have not cooperated with investigators regarding the whereabouts of the gun.
Although police have not officially named Bellarmine Mugabe due to ongoing investigations, reporters at the scene observed him in handcuffs, and local media outlets have widely identified him. He is the son of Robert Mugabe and his second wife, Grace Mugabe. His father, Robert Mugabe, was a prominent figure in African politics, having led Zimbabwe for 37 years before being ousted from power in 2017 at the age of 93, and subsequently passing away in 2019.
The victim is currently hospitalized in a critical condition after sustaining a single gunshot wound. Investigators are actively working to determine the full circumstances surrounding the shooting. Both arrested individuals are expected to make a court appearance soon as the legal process unfolds.
