Michael Carrick has been widely praised for his impressive work as Manchester United’s caretaker manager.

The sentiment is echoed within the current squad, with United Winger Amad openly backing Michael Carrick to assume the role of head coach permanently.

Amad emphasized the team's contentment with Carrick at the helm, stating, "Obviously it's not for us as a player to decide his future, but he's been very good, he's been doing so much for the team."

He further elaborated on Carrick's suitability, highlighting his "lot of experience," deep knowledge of the club, and possession of the "DNA" necessary for the position.

"We think he's the right man. He knows the club, he played for the club, so he has great experience to manage this club.

Sometimes this kind of manager can bring a club where they belong," Amad concluded, underscoring the belief that Carrick could restore the club to its former glory.
