LaLiga Shocker! Lewandowski Fuels Speculation on Barcelona Exit

Robert Lewandowski has openly questioned his future at Barcelona, admitting he does not yet know "which direction to take" as his contract approaches its end. The veteran striker emphasized that a final decision about continuing in Catalonia has not been made, particularly after a season start disrupted by injury problems.
In an interview with Polish journalist Bogdan Rymanowski, Lewandowski offered a candid view of his situation, highlighting both careful reflection and a patient approach. He stated, "I still have time to make a decision. Right now, I don’t know where I want to play… I don’t have any pressure." He also clarified that talks with Barcelona management are distant rather than tense and that financial factors are not the primary driver of his considerations.
The season has been physically demanding for the Poland captain. He suffered two separate injury spells early on, which hindered his ability to secure a regular starting position. Lewandowski admitted that these setbacks made the initial months of the campaign particularly challenging. "I also had a difficult start to the season. I was injured twice… I have in mind that probably in the second part of the season it would be good to prepare physically, not have health problems, just give it my all," he said.
Despite the uncertainty over his club future, Lewandowski remains ambitious on personal and international fronts. He is determined to chase trophies and maintain peak performance for Poland, even as he acknowledges he is in the latter stages of his celebrated career. "I hope we play these two games in a way that will help us qualify for the World Cup," he added. "I would like to have it all: to qualify for the World Cup, the Spanish title, the Champions League… I am aware that these are my last years in football."
