Kingdom Achievers Awards Shakes Up Industry: New Recording Academy Unveiled, Public Voting Halted!

The highly anticipated fourth edition of the Kingdom Achievers Awards (KAA), a leading gospel music and creatives award, is set to introduce a significant change in its recognition process. Recognized as one of Africa’s most prominent Christian awards, KAA has announced a strategic shift from its previous public voting system to a new, professional framework, operating under the newly established Kingdom Achievers Recording Academy (KARA).
This pivotal announcement was made through KAA’s official social media platforms, signaling the organization’s continuous growth and an enhanced dedication to celebrating Christian creatives on a more expansive and refined scale. The introduction of KARA aims to elevate the entire awards process, ensuring a meticulous and credible approach to recognizing exceptional talent within the Christian creative industry.
Sam Adejo, the convener of Kingdom Achievers Awards, elaborated on this development, stating that the Kingdom Achievers Recording Academy is "introduced to elevate the award process, and will oversee nominations, evaluations and final awards ensuring Christian creatives are duly recognised for their exceptional contributions." Adejo expressed his enthusiasm for this transition, highlighting it as a significant milestone for KAA, one that reinforces its unwavering commitment to excellence and credibility in acknowledging talent across the African continent.
Reflecting on previous successes, last year's award ceremony, held at the esteemed MUSON Centre, celebrated achievements across thirty distinct categories. Notable awardees from that event included prominent figures such as Moses Bliss, Mercy Chinwo, Veeke James, and Dr Stephen Akintayo, underscoring the calibre of talent KAA has historically honoured.
The upcoming fourth edition, scheduled for November 9th at the Muson Centre in Lagos, promises to be a landmark occasion. It is expected to set a new benchmark for Christian awards throughout Africa. This development has generated considerable excitement among gospel music enthusiasts worldwide, who eagerly anticipate their favourite Christian creatives being celebrated and receiving well-deserved accolades at this year’s Kingdom Achievers Awards.
